Do you need vascular / surgical advice?
You can book an appointment in my vascular and general surgery practice in Lugano (tuesday–wednesday–thursday) or in Locarno (only on mondays). In exceptional situations I can provide vascular specialist visit at your home (in Ticino / Switzerland). We will answer your request in the shortest time possible – please allow at least 24-36h for your demand to be evaluated.
Arterial disease
I offer complete angiological work-up with plethysmography, oscillography, peripheral oxymetry and color-doppler-ultrasound. Once diagnostic investigation complete I shall discuss thoroughly with you and your family the therapeutic possibilities and eventually operate your pathology.
Venous disease
I provide complete angiological work-up of the venous pathologies. Once diagnostic investigation complete I shall discuss thoroughly with you and your family the therapeutic options and eventually operate your pathology.
Lymphatic disease
Nowadays color-doppler-ultrasound gives also hints about some underlying lymphatic malfunction. We work with VASOprime compression device obtaining excellent results in our patients.
Endovascular procedures
Together with Dr. Roberto Peroni from Moncucco Clinic Radiology department we offer a complete endovacular service for all type of vascular pathologies except neuroradiological and invasive cardiologic interventions.
Special pathologies
A broad spectrum of investigation and surgical therapies for rare conditions as thoracic outlet syndrome, MALS (median arcuate legament syndrome = Dunbar syndrome) and May-Thurner syndrome are available at my practice.
Hemodialysis fistula creation and surveillance.
I collaborate with two dialysis centers:
1. Nefrocure Dialysis Center Lugano
2. Dialago Dialysis Center Tenero-Locarno
I create, maintain and control fistulas for their patients. I am also practical with peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion, maintenance and removal.
